Using camera traps between December 2011 and March 2013 in an area of montane
forest bordering cloud grasslands at an altitude above 2,300 m, we investigated
the seasonal use of the upper montane forests of Argentina by jaguars. We confirmed
that the jaguar is present and uses areas above 2,300 m throughout the year,
but with a marked difference across seasons.
