The Misionera Forest

Versión en castellano - Click acá. The incredible forest extention that still sorrounds the Urugua-í river, from the air. It is the most important river in the province central zone, near its calm water one of the best native forest example is conserved.

The speciallist Peter Crawshaw concluded that, to sustain 4 adult Jaguars we need 10.000 hectareas, and a species population of les than 500 individuals will have serious dificulties to survive in a long term.

We will need 1.250.000 non interrumped forested hectareas to resguard our Jaguars here. We are still in time to do it.
